My Favorite Books to Help Your Personal Finances

One of the most important steps in consistently, and effectively managing your finances is gaining the
know-how and understanding to do. Books can provide you with that in which you seek. From there it is
ultimately up to you to use what you have learned to maintain your wealth and have healthy financial
life.
Below is a small list of my favorites, although are some cliché but have helped me the most:

1. Rich Dad Poor Dad by Robert Kiyosaki
This classic book drops gem after gem highlighting the importance of managing your cash flow,
having an efficient system in place and controlling who you associate yourself with.

2. The Millionaire Next Door by Thomas J. Stanley
I love this one because its breaks down finance to a basic game of spending way less than you
earn. Regardless of income this should a goal for everyone to have. Excessive spending leads to
debt which can derail your financial plan.

3. The Richest Man in Babylon by George S. Clason
Of the books listed on this list, this is by far my favorite. It definitely has had the most impact on
my life. The message it gives is similar to The Millionaire Next Door but this uses example stories
to deliver the message.

4. Who Moved My Cheese? by Spencer Johnson
This book is great because it taught me the mindset to have when dealing with change. As a
people we all react to change differently, either positively or negatively. All change isn’t
inherently bad, and it isn’t something you can control. What you can control is your reaction to
change.
